Children's Aid Society of Sudbury Manitoulin Charged

The Children's Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin and its Executive Director have been charged by a local area resident with failing to furnish a list of their members as required by law.

The Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto also committed the same Offence but no charges were laid due to ongoing litigation with the Ottawa CAS.

The Charges against the Ottawa CAS for the same Offence were resolved by the person charging them as shown in the post after this one. (below)

They'll get away with it, just like all the other crap that they pull.

Legally Kidnapped

It is true that there is a strong likely hood of them getting away with it. But, we must continue to bring such matters to the light of the public. As a matter of fact, it was forwarded to the Auditor General's Office as well who has stated that they can not ACT on it because it was submitted to them by a citizen, but they are aware of it now and will take such matters into consideration during their next review.

We have also learned that in order to get the Auditor General to Act, according to the Auditor General's Act (section 17) we need to get the Legislative Assembly to call the auditor to act.

This means we must all contact the Legislative Assembly's MPP's (our own and others such as Andrea Horwath and Julia Munro who are opposition critics of child-welfare) to contact the auditor to call for an investigation into such matters as corporate by-laws and the Society's committing Offences under it.

Or we do nothing and accept defeat.
